Little bit about me!
I’m a Teacher, Wife, Mom, and Homemaker. I enjoy reading a good book, working out, and spending time with important people in my life. I’ve been teaching for over 10 years and I enjoy school years with my students and getting to know each of them and their families. Living in a small town often means I get to teach siblings and cousins! I’ve been married for about 10 years and a mom for almost 7 years. My summertime is my absolute favorite, I love getting to be home with my kids and getting to do all the fun things with them. It also means the start of gardening and preparing for our cold winter months.
Church
- First and most important, I believe that Jesus it the truth and we all need kindness. I have grown to love God as an adult, I still have so much learning to do in this area of my life. There is always more to learn. This coming year I hope to become more involved in my local church. I do help with the daycare in our church, as I serve as a board member.
Reading
- Reading is another passion of mine that I have enjoyed on and off throughout my life. It all depends on what season I’m in and how I choose my time. I often ready before bed. My favorite are Christian fiction. I have recently been enjoying Christian non-fiction book during my summer “extra” time. I’m trying to expand my knowledge on many different subjects. Once a learner always a learner. One of these posts will be all about the books I’ve enjoyed throughout the years.
Life
- Finally, I’m hoping to share my journey as I continue to discover things that I love to do. One of those being canning and gardening. I am not perfect and have so much to learn still!! Join me as I figure out what works for our family.
