Bees
We love bees at our house! The importance of helping bees be successful is important to us because they help our crops grow and produce fruit. We have made a few of our own and bought a few bee homes. One day we hope to have our own hive. Do you have a bee hive? Do you have any advice? We are also working making sure we have enough flowers to encourage bees. Plus side of adding these fun bee homes to your property is they are decorative. I love to have some yard decorations that bring up my landscaping.

These materials provide cavities where female bees can deposit their eggs and provide food for their larvae.
Yard Decorations and homes for the bees
A few years ago my husband gifted me with these yard ornaments! They used to hang on our back fence. Note they have found a new home on the garden shed. The bright colors and designs make my heart happy. Do you add yard decorations to your landscaping or around your property?
Looking at them reminds me of spring and the start of the warm weather. I love when the cold days start to get warmer and stay warm. I do not enjoy having to bundle up each day to walk outside and get my kids all bundled up to walk to school. I love watching the snow fall and being all cozy inside but those thoughts will have to wait for another day, when it is actually snowy and cold out.
God has blessed us by providing a place we can turn into our forever home. We are grateful for his timing for buying this house and remodeling it. Our family has been made stronger, through the trials of remodeling a home. When I see the yard decoration I’m reminded of my husband’s love and thoughtfulness. I made one comment about them and he remembered.
